About Val Fiott
Val Fiott is a Senior Fitness Trainer, Weight Management Coach, and Certified Specialist in Medical Exercise & Post-Therapy Rehabilitation. A certified fitness professional since 1994, Val has guided over 1,000 clients through private coaching, public speaking, and mentorship, becoming a trusted figure in the health and wellness space. With multiple certifications through the American Council on Exercise and other leading organizations, Val also enriched his expertise through professional studies at five Ivy League institutions—including Harvard Medical School and Yale, where he earned certificates in multiple programs. His successes and insight led to a fourteen-year tenure as Subject Matter Expert for the American Council on Exercise, where he helped shape national certification standards for professional exams. Following media attention for his senior fitness programs, Val was recruited to serve as Corporate Physical Health Director for Evangelical Homes of Michigan (now EHM Senior Solutions), a senior care provider serving thousands annually across multiple facilities. Through his doctoral work, Val advanced his working knowledge of the clinical science of longevity—further exploring how nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle interventions improve healthspan, mobility, and long-term resilience. Often described as a “miracle worker,” he is known for empowering older adults to improve quality of life—helping them remain stronger, safer, happier, and more independent.
